With a logo, two pages of loose guidelines and a raft of collateral that was confused and disjointed, Defence Housing Australia needed to establish a more comprehensive visual brand language.

Crafting clarity from complexity

We first audited a significant archive of existing collateral that represented years of communication from various business units to an array of stakeholders.

By adopting a ‘keep, lose, acquire’ strategy we decommissioned a significant amount of creative work and built on the best existing elements by creating a series of workable templates. From there, a comprehensive suite of guidelines were developed, tailored to specific business unit requirements, which ensure DHA as a brand is managed professionally and consistently.
